Is Hex Empires free?
Yes. Everyone can play for free. A membership unlocks extra modes, maps and colors, and supports the game.
Do I need an account?
No — you can play as a guest straight away. Register with an email to keep your record on any device and to buy from the store.
How do I play with friends?
Create a room, make it private or set a passcode, and send your friends the invite link. You can fill empty seats with bots.
Can I watch a game?
Yes. Games in progress show a Watch button in the room list; locked rooms need their passcode.
What are crowns?
Crowns are the store currency. Buy them in packs and spend them on emblems and custom avatars.
How do I cancel my membership?
Open the store and choose Manage billing. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Which languages are available?
Hex Empires's website is available in 31 languages — pick yours from the menu in the top corner.
I forgot my password.
Use “Forgot password?” on the home page: we email you a link to set a new one, valid for one hour.
